CEO & President at GlobalDoc, Inc.

Michael Cooper founded GlobalDoc, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia in 1993 as a professional technical documentation and translation services company. He remains very active in company operations and serves as the CEO/President of GlobalDoc, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, GlobalDoc (UK) Ltd.

His extensive business experience and executive leadership in the technical documentation, marketing communications, software development and translation services industries enable him to understand a broad range of international client information requirements. He began his career with IBM Corporation in 1981. As a technical writer for IBM software programs and applications, he was directly involved at IBM in information development, usability testing, quality control, and translation planning for many years. In 1991, Michael joined Toin America Corporation, a branch of Japan-based translation services company The Toin Corporation. He assumed responsibility as General Manager reporting to the President of The Toin Corporation in Tokyo.

Given Michael’s many years of business experience in the industry, he enjoys responding to unique client requests whereby he can drive GlobalDoc offerings in partnership with client requirements. Clients depend on him for guidance as they investigate innovative and technology-driven ways to reach worldwide audiences. Under his leadership, GlobalDoc has grown from offering translation-specific services to a more broad range of services, including content management and language-focused API development through GlobalDoc’s LangXpert software application.

Michael is very proud of his efforts to organize “GlobalDoc Cares”, a program he founded in 2001 as a way for the company to give back to the international communities in which it serves. This program has provided significant monetary and in-kind donations worldwide. It is an integral part of the corporate philosophy of GlobalDoc.
