Anita Havele

Anita Havele is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in standards development and IT solutions. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Web3D Consortium since December 2007, Anita implements strategic plans for the global growth and adoption of industry standards such as X3D, VRML, and H-Anim. Additionally, Anita has been the President of GlobalEdge Technologies, Inc. since September 2003, providing innovative IT and engineering solutions. Previous roles include Director of Information Technology at Computer Aided Engineering Technologies and Advanced Engineer at EDS/GM. Anita began the career as a Design Engineer at Bio-Image and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.
