Asif Syed

Asif Syed is an experienced engineer specializing in analog and mixed-signal design, with a robust background in power management integrated circuits (PMIC) and GaN technologies. Currently serving as Manager of Analog Design at GlobalFoundries since July 2024, Asif previously held managerial and senior engineering roles at Tagore Technology and SiWays Microelectronics, where contributions included the design of silicon-proven ICs and GaN power devices. Asif's earlier experience encompasses research and engineering positions at National Semiconductor and various consultancy roles focused on circuit design and automation, complemented by a strong academic foundation with a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
