Michael Raga-Barone is an experienced engineer with a strong background in manufacturing excellence, process engineering, and automation. Currently at GlobalFoundries since June 2017, Michael has held various positions including Member of Technical Staff Process Engineer and Principal Engineer Factory Automation, focusing on optimizing wafer delivery times and managing departmental maintenance costs. Previously, Michael worked as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at GE Power, driving cost reduction and process optimization for generator manufacturing. At Current, powered by GE, responsibilities included improving the safety and cycle life of Sodium Metal Halide batteries as a Lead Reliability/Process Engineer and overseeing enhancements in production line output as a Lead Process Engineer.
