Sam Franklin

Sam Franklin is Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at GF, a position he was appointed to in 2022. Mr. Franklin is responsible for leading GF’s activities across the equity and debt capital markets, in line with GF’s long-term strategic objectives, including funding, treasury and managing the company’s interface with the global investment community.

Previously, Mr. Franklin was a Senior Vice President for Mubadala Investment Company, leading the capital markets and investor relations activities for its Direct Investments platform. While at Mubadala, he was key financial advisor to several portfolio companies, including GF, in addition to leading the financing initiatives for target acquisitions.

Prior to Mubadala, Mr. Franklin spent his career working in investment banking, with MUFG Bank and Barclays. Mr. Franklin holds a Law degree from Durham University in England and is certified by the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
