Sven Ludwig

Sven Ludwig is a seasoned supply chain management professional with extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, particularly focused on photochemicals and specialty gases. Currently serving as the Global Commodity Head for Photochemicals at GlobalFoundries since August 2019, Sven leads sourcing activities for Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), ensuring compliance with EPA and ECHA regulations. Prior experience includes roles at Schuler Group as a Junior Division Procurement Manager and various positions within Siemens and TU Dresden, where Sven developed a strong foundation in logistics and manufacturing. Sven holds a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management from Technische Universität Dresden and a Handelsfachwirt degree in Trade/Commerce.
