Thomas Herrmann is currently the Senior Manager and Deputy Director of Product Engineering at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, a position they have held since 2022. From 2009 to 2022, they worked as a PMTS Manufacturing Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, focusing on yield ramp and design for manufacturing on advanced technology nodes. Prior to this, Thomas gained experience at AMD from 1998 to 2009 as an MTS DFT & Test & Product & Validation Engineer, where they were involved in the design, testing, and product development of complex digital SoCs. Thomas earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, completing their studies in 1997.
