Riya Patel

Riya leads the product development of GlobalGiving's enterprise software. She seeks to understand the needs of our corporate and nonprofit partners, connect the dots, and build innovative products that equip them to best support impactful projects around the world. Riya's passion for this work was sparked during her time in Peru at a microfinance bank, where she witnessed the awe-inspiring power of community-led change. Previously, she worked at a Y Combinator-backed EdTech startup developing digital fundraising and volunteer management tools for schools. Riya graduated from Harvard University with an A.B. in Sociology and Spanish.
