Ana María Vega has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ana María began their career as an AP Assistant at Ajover in 2011, handling invoicing and payment management for vendors. In 2013, they worked as a Bilingual Receptionist at Samsung Electronics, where they provided administrative support and managed the office switchboard. Ana María also worked briefly as an English-Spanish Interpreter at English Nowadays.

In 2014, Ana María joined Tata Consultancy Services as an English-Spanish Translator, translating software line codes and user manuals. Ana María then worked as an English-Spanish Interpreter for a short period before joining Forever 21 - Alameda Colombia as a Manager Assistant. In this role, they supported regional management and assisted with sales, marketing, and inventory reports.

Ana María later worked at Colombian Business Services (Biz Latin Hub) as an Office Manager and Group Executive Assistant, overseeing call center operations and coordinating recruitment, payroll, and compensation. At Colegio Nueva Granada, they served as a College Counseling Assistant, managing the counseling agenda, organizing college fairs, and arranging substitute teachers' schedules.

From 2019 to 2022, Ana María worked at Nokia as an HR Operations Specialist, guiding employees in utilizing HR tools and supporting managers with transactional HR tasks. Currently, they are employed at Globalization Partners as a Human Resources Specialist, responsible for end-to-end HR service delivery, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits enrollment, and providing HR support to customers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Ana María has demonstrated their ability to handle diverse responsibilities, support teams, and ensure smooth HR and administrative operations.

Ana María Vega obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages with a focus on Language Interpretation and Translation from Universidad EAN, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they also attended Oakton College, where they completed courses in Effective Management Communications and Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology. Additionally, Ana María obtained certifications in the Michigan English Test from Cambridge English Language Assessment in April 2017 and in CELPE-Bras, Certificação de Proficiência em Língua Portuguesa (Nivel Intermediário Superior) from the Ministério da Educação do Brasil in September 2014.
