Ciaran Whyte

Ciaran Whyte has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ciaran currently works as a Software Engineer at G-P/Globalization Partners, where they utilize technologies such as NodeJS, Java, AWS, and Serverless architecture to migrate to new microservices. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at All human, where they contributed to the creation of the frontend for visitdublin.com using ReactJS and other technologies.

Ciaran also has experience as a Software Engineer at StitcherAds, where they worked on various projects, and at Ellucian, where they built quality software for 3rd level institutions using technologies like ReactJS, NodeJS, GraphQL, and AWS. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sidero Ltd, where they developed for Ericsson in the telecommunications sector and served as a Scrum Master.

Ciaran's earlier roles include working as a Technical Operations Specialist at Oath and Yahoo! Inc., where they focused on programming in the advertising sector. Ciaran also has experience in software development at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.

Before embarking on their career in software engineering, Ciaran worked as a Painter/Decorator at Variety Decor and completed a FETAC Level 5 Information Technology course at VTOS (VEC).
