Lysida Santiago

Lysida Santiago has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Lysida started their career as a Help Desk Technician/General Clerk I at Dellew Corporation in 2007, where they provided Tier 1 Help Desk support and performed systems administration for Oracle and UNIX based servers. Lysida then joined L-3 National Security Solutions in 2008 as a Network Technician 4, where they served until 2011 and was responsible for network and systems administration as well as serving as a Help Desk Lead.

In 2011, Lysida moved on to WS Development as a Senior Network/Systems Administrator and worked there until 2018. Lysida played a crucial role in the organization's network and systems administration.

From 2015 to 2015, Lysida worked at the Harvard Clinical Research Institute as a System Administrator, contributing their skills in system administration.

In 2018, Lysida joined Globalization Partners as a Systems Administrator, and then gradually progressed through various roles, including Sr. Systems Administrator, IT Manager (Americas), and currently serves as the Manager of IT Cloud Services. Lysida has shown their expertise in IT management and cloud services in their current role.

Lysida Santiago's education history includes a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2003, they attended the University of Guam and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Information Systems. During their time at the University of Guam, they also pursued a minor in Computer Science.

Before entering higher education, Lysida completed their high school education at John F. Kennedy High School from 1995 to 1998, focusing on general education.

In addition to their formal education, Lysida Santiago has obtained several certifications. Lysida obtained the "Careers in Cloud Computing: IT Pro to Microsoft Cloud Pro" certification from LinkedIn in September 2022. In the same month and platform, they also earned the "Learning ITIL®" certification.

Furthermore, Lysida has obtained the following certifications from Cisco: "Implementing and Administering Cisco Networking Technologies" in January 2021, "CCNA Security" in August 2017, "CCNA Routing and Switching" in September 2014, and "CCENT" in August 2014.

Additionally, they hold the "A+" certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in September 2009, and the "Security+" certification from CompTIA, earned in May 2009.
