Marcel Majernik

Marcel Majernik is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing large teams and complex projects across multiple industries. Currently serving as Director of Engineering and Division Head at GlobalLogic since July 2014, Marcel oversees project delivery, resource management, business development, and financial forecasting for a team of 120 professionals. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager and Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed pre-sales support, project planning, and quality management. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Ixonos, focusing on mobile development, and positions at Siemens, as well as teaching roles in information technology and mathematics. Marcel holds a Master's Degree in Teacher's Combination of Math and Informatics from the University of Pavol Jozef Šafárik. Additionally, Marcel actively engages in coaching and mentoring in methodologies like ISTQB and SCRUM.
