Will Northington

Director, Operations at Global Rescue

Dr. Northington is responsible for overseeing and leading medical operations at Global Rescue. He is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army National Guard serving as a Special Operations Detachment Surgeon and previously served on active duty with multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan. Dr. Northington also served as the Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and as the National Capital Region EMS Medical Director for Navy Medicine. Dr. Northington has also served as a Medical Command Physician with the Johns Hopkins Emergency Medicine Division of Special Operations supporting the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Dept. of State, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Dr. Northington is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He received his MPH from the University of Pittsburgh where he also received a certificate in Public Health Preparedness and Disaster Response.
