Norma Venegas

Norma Venegas has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Norma started their career in 1988 as the General Manager at Lacsa Courier/ IBC - International Bonded Couriers, where they led and managed the company's operations. In 1992, they transitioned to Orler Courier as a Project Manager, overseeing project execution and delivery.

Norma's career then took their to SkyNet Worldwide Express in 1994, where they held the position of President and CEO. In this role, they were responsible for directing the company, making budget decisions, supervising accounting and billing, generating new business, and driving the company's culture. Norma also played a key role in integrating the company's logistics and facilitating online shopping purchases from the U.S.A.

In 2017, Norma joined Handcrafted, Styled & More as a Business Development Director. Here, they developed and implemented local and e-commerce strategies to position the company in the market and achieve financial growth. Norma also managed and developed the IT and Logistics team and set the strategic direction for all locally and e-commerce activities.

Norma later moved on to Magic Green Mountain in 2018, assuming the role of Group CEO. In this position, they provided leadership and direction to the company.

In 2011, Norma became a Delivery Partner at SkyPostal, where they played a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

In March 2021, Norma joined GlobalShopex as a Market Development Executive, responsible for developing and expanding the company's market presence.

Norma Venegas attended Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) from 1988 to 1993.
