Angela de Souza

Angela De Souza's work experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at GlobalSign since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Amadeus from 2016 to 2020, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer (Scrum Master). During their time at Amadeus, Angela was responsible for inspiring and mentoring the SCRUMBAN team, reducing backlog issues by 85%, and collaborating with global teams to remove obstacles. Angela also designed and delivered new features and fixed defects for multiple products using various programming languages and technologies. Before joining Amadeus, Angela worked as an Engineering Instructor/Teaching Assistant at the American University of the Middle East from 2015 to 2016. Angela also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Accounts Balancing Solutions in 2014. Prior to that, Angela was a Software Engineer II at Cisco from 2011 to 2013, where they were involved in designing, developing, and testing features for mobile carriers. Angela also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Binghamton University in 2010 and as a Technical Analyst at Cognizant from 2007 to 2009.

Angela De Souza obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel University from 2004 to 2007. Angela then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Binghamton University from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Angela obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM) I from Scrum.org in July 2020.
