Maria Myrto Folia

Maria Myrto Folia is a Senior Data Scientist and ML Engineer at GWI since March 2021, with previous experience as a Data Scientist at Ocado Technology and easyJet, focusing on demand forecasting and machine learning projects. Prior roles include Mathematical Modeller/Data Scientist at Unilever, where predictive toxicology models were developed, and teaching positions as a Maths Intervention Tutor and Tutor at Ashton on Mersey School and Smarter Group Tuition Centre, respectively. Education includes a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from The University of Manchester, a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
