Zdenek Maxa

Zdenek Maxa is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in data tools development and automated data processing. Currently serving as a Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at GWI since November 2017, Zdenek focuses on designing and developing microservices and data processing pipelines using technologies such as Python, GCP, and PostgreSQL. Previous roles include Senior Software Developer at End Point Corporation, where Zdenek was responsible for CI pipelines for the Liquid Galaxy project, and a Senior Software Developer position at Netmail, concentrating on Google Cloud Platform applications. Zdenek also has notable experience from the California Institute of Technology and CERN, contributing to distributed data management workflows and developing applications for major experiments. Zdenek holds a Master of Science degree in Distributed Systems and Computer Networks from the University of West Bohemia.
