Gary Alton

Gary Alton is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience spanning several decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Security, Safety, and Emergency Preparedness at Globe Life since July 2018, Gary previously held the position of Director of Global Security at Applied Materials, where significant achievements included the development of customs and intellectual property audit programs. Earlier career highlights include directing security consulting services at Swailes and Company, managing security operations at Compaq Computer Corporation, and overseeing a large security staff at Barton Protective Services. Gary's foundational experience includes service as a police officer with the Houston Police Department. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LeTourneau University and an Advanced Leadership Certificate from Georgetown University, along with participating in the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
