Don Niňo Santos

Don Niňo Santos, CPA, CSI, CFE, CIA, CRM has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to risk management, compliance, and revenue assurance. Don Niňo worked at Globe Group from 2008 to 2023, where they served as the VP of Revenue Assurance and Sr. Director of Risk Management. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage risks and ensure compliance with regulations. Don also worked as the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer for GCash, where they oversaw compliance to regulations and managed risk assessments. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs for GCash, where they managed the implementation of the company's money laundering and terrorist financing prevention program. Don also worked at Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company as an Internal Audit Manager, where they conducted independent objective assurance and advisory activities to improve the company's operations and investigated fraud cases. Don Niňo currently serves as the Group Chief Risk Officer at GCash, where they utilize their expertise in risk management.

Don Niňo Santos, CPA, CSI, CFE, CIA, CRM holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA. Don Niňo also completed a CPA Board Review program at the Professional Review and Training Center. In addition to their academic qualifications, Don Niňo Santos has obtained multiple certifications including ISO 31000 Risk Manager from PECB, PECB Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager (CRM) from PECB North America, Certified Systems Investigator (CSI) from CSI World Headquarters, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission.
