Mauro Zambrano

Mauro Zambrano has a strong background in the telecommunications industry. From 2016 to the present, they have worked at Globecast, where they are responsible for ensuring the integrity of television services through monitoring and configuration of the technical chain. Mauro also troubleshoots Multistream technology for satellite distribution.

Prior to this, Mauro worked at Orbit Communications Company from 1996 to 2013, where they held various roles. As a Supervisor Network Engineer, they maintained network integrity and facilitated improvements to technical operations. As a Senior Network Engineer, they operated on an MPEG 2 DVB platform, uplinking television channels and radio stations. As an Engineer, their main duties included monitoring inbound feeds from major broadcasters and coordinating live events.

Before joining Orbit Communications, Mauro worked at SBP s.p.a from 1986 to 1996 as a Video Tape Operator. Here, they focused on dubbing video material for clients in a multi-format multi-standard environment.

Mauro Zambrano has a diverse education history. In 1979, they graduated from Galileo Ferraris Roma, where they obtained a Diploma di Perito Elettrotecnico.

In 2018, Mauro attended Skyline for a brief period to receive Dataminer training.

Mauro also received multiple certifications from Cloud Academy. In January 2023, they obtained the Cloud Literacy certification and later that year in July, they acquired the AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) Certification Preparation for AWS.

Additionally, Mauro participated in various specialized training programs. Mauro completed DVB system and configuration training and Conditional access training at Harmonic - Divicom. Mauro also underwent Satellite news gathering training at BBC and became a certified Satellite home system installer at Eurosatellite.
