See Chai TAN has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry.

See Chai is currently serving as the Head of Sales, Distribution at Globecast since December 2019.

Prior to that, they worked at Telesat Canada as the Director of Sales from April 2017 to December 2019.

From 2001 to 2017, they held various roles at GlobeCast including Senior Director of Sales, Head of Occasional Services where they handled Sports, Breaking News, Business TV, Special Events, etc. See Chai also served as the China Chief Representative and successfully developed new business and strategic partners in China, particularly during the Beijing 2008 Olympics. Initially, they started as the Technical Service Director at GlobeCast from December 2001 to February 2005.

Before joining GlobeCast, they worked at Interpacket / Verestar as a Program Manager from March 2000 to October 2001, and at Williams Global Access / Loral Cyberstar as a Technical Support Manager from March 1998 to March 2000.

Their career in the telecommunications industry started at Echostar International in May 1992, where they served as the Technical Service Manager. In this role, they established Authorized Service Centers across the Asia Pacific region and managed spare parts inventory. See Chai also coordinated technical efforts for trade exhibitions and product launch presentations. Their tenure at Echostar International lasted until March 1998.

See Chai TAN attended the Singapore Polytechnic from 1984 to 1987, where they studied Telecommunication. Following this, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at the Singapore Institute of Management from 1993 to 1994.
