Gary Smith

Gary Smith has extensive experience in broadcast and telecommunications engineering, currently serving as a Senior Broadcast Engineering Technician at Globecomm Systems Inc. since September 2004, where responsibilities include the installation, repair, and maintenance of audio, video, RF, and server-based HD broadcast systems, along with providing 24x7 technical support for Showtime Networks, Inc. Prior to this role, Gary Smith worked as a TTAC Technical Specialist at PanAmSat from October 1985 to August 2004, focusing on telemetry, tracking, and command systems. Gary Smith also served as a Lead Petty Officer in the Fast Attack Submarine Radio Division of the US Navy from 1979 to 1985. Educational qualifications include a diploma in Submarine Communications Technology from the US Navy Submarine Electronics Technical Training and studies at City Tech, CUNY.
