Robert T. Durbin, Jr. has a wealth of experience in various roles and industries. Robert T. started their career at ObjectFX, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in geospatial solutions for the federal government. Robert T. then moved on to ElanTech Inc., where they served as an Engineering Manager, overseeing development efforts for specialized electronics systems in the government sector.

Durbin then joined Globecomm Inc., starting as the Director of Research Development, Test, and Evaluation, and later transitioning to the role of Technical Program Manager/Manager Program Development for the subsidiary company, Protechnic. During their time at Globecomm, Durbin played a key role in achieving CMMi Level 3 maturity and delivering new products in various areas.

Durbin's most recent position was at Globecomm Systems Inc., where they worked as the Director of Information Security.
