Romit Dasgupta

An alumnus of Imperial College London, UK and Syracuse University, USA, Romit Dasgupta, CEO, Globsyn 3rd.Life, is a serial entrepreneur who has brought in a fresh breath of energy into the operations of the Group’s technology vertical that he spearheads. Romit has helped build companies from the scratch, and has deep domain knowledge in payment solutions (SWIFT). The various FinTech products developed under his mentorship offers a range of sophisticated and advanced technology solutions in the transaction monitoring space for banks and financial organizations. He is also an Angel Investor and has a Patent (pending) in the FinTech IOT space. Romit has been a prolific speaker at various seminars and forums including TiE, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and the House of Commons (UK). His team building and people skills sees him deftly managing a team of more than 1000+ executives across multiple location in India and abroad, as well as taking up leadership position in several youth organizations. He also served as the Chairman of CII-Young Indians (Kolkata, India), the Youth Wing of Confederation of Indian Industries, the largest Industry body in India. Romit also looks after the Corporate Finance and Strategic Investment of Globsyn Group and has been instrumental in bringing fiscal discipline into the system.
