Prem Subramanian Ramakrishnan

Prem Subramanian Ramakrishnan is a seasoned professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as Group Manager at Globus Medical since November 2013, with previous roles including Senior Product/Project Manager and Product Manager, focusing on marketing, market analysis, product development, and sales training. Prior to this, Ramakrishnan held academic positions at the University of Iowa, contributing as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Assistant Research Scientist, where expertise was shared through lecturing and mentoring graduate students, along with publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Ramakrishnan's early career involved research as a Post-Doctoral Research Scholar at the University of Iowa and as a Research Assistant at Rush University Medical Center, where significant experimental work on biomechanics was conducted. Currently, Ramakrishnan is pursuing an MBA at Penn State Smeal College of Business, building on a strong educational foundation that includes a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s in Bioengineering.
