Kathy Kane

Director, Event Planning & Marketing, Glookast at Glookast Technologies

Kathy Kane has a long and varied work experience. Kathy began their career in 1983 as the Director of Sales Support and Training at Autographix, Inc., where they managed and directed the training/support function of a $35M presentation graphics and prepress company. Kathy then moved to VMARK Software in 1994, where they were the Business Development Manager and was responsible for establishing marketing relationships and developing alternative channels for VMARK's database and client/server products. In 1995, they joined Avid Technology, Inc., as the Director of Reseller Programs and Communication, managing and developing all channel-related activities for Avid's indirect sales programs. In 2006, they became the Director of Business Development at Facilis Technology, Inc., where they managed their distribution/reseller business. From 2007 to 2009, they volunteered at Marlborough Hospital and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for Greater Marlboro Programs from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to present, they have been the Director of Marketing and Events for GLOOKAST and the Director of Marketing and Channel Development, developing marketing plans, trade show logistics, newsletters, data sheets, and building a reseller channel for GLOOKAST product sales worldwide. Kathy has also been a volunteer for Fairy Godmothers of Rochester since 2010 and a Corporate Leadership Council Member for Special Olympics, Genesee Region since 2009.

Kathy Kane attended St. Anthony of Padua from 1966 to 1969, graduating with a Regents Diploma in Academics. Kathy then attended the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville from 1969 to 1971, graduating with an Associate's Degree in Business. Finally, they attended Northeastern University from 1986 to 1989, graduating with a BS in Business Administration.
