Ken FitzGerald is the Principal of the Ocean Engineering Group at Glosten, where a career spanning over two decades includes significant consulting, design, and project management work in research vessel design, ocean energy operations, and mooring systems. FitzGerald has been instrumental in various high-profile projects, such as the KAUST 50m Research Vessel Design and PelaStar Floating Wind Turbine, highlighting expertise in subsea design and logistics analysis. Prior experiences as a sailor with Pacific Circumnavigation and as a Field Oceanographer at RPS reinforce a robust background in ocean science and marine operations, complemented by earlier roles as an Oceanographic Technician at Louisiana State University. Educational qualifications include a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University and further studies at Texas A&M University.
