David Walt

David Walt is a prominent academic and entrepreneur in the field of biologically inspired engineering and chemical biology. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Director at Protillion Biosciences, Vizgen, Sherlock Biosciences, Arbor Biotechnologies, and Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute, David Walt holds significant positions at various prestigious institutions including the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard University as Hansjörg Wyss Professor and HHMI Professor. Additionally, David Walt is a Professor of Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and has been involved with Ultivue since 2014. David Walt obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from Stony Brook University.
