Deborah Olagoke

Product Designer at Glover

Deborah Olagoke has an extensive work experience in UX/UI design. Deborah started their career as a UI/UX Designer Intern at Hotels.ng in 2019. Deborah then worked as a Network Administrator Trainee at the Information Technology Unit, College of Medicine. After that, they interned as a UI/UX Designer at First City Monument Bank Limited, where they designed user interfaces and created information architecture models.

Deborah then worked as a User Experience/User Interface Designer at Zippie eWallet, where they designed user interfaces and contributed to the overall user experience. Deborah also worked as a Design Tutor/Facilitator at The Creative Kids Zone (TCKZone), where they taught and facilitated design-related activities.

In 2020, Deborah joined HealthStation Ltd as an Associate UI/UX Designer. In this role, they ensured user interface consistency across the product suite and incorporated user feedback into final product designs.

Deborah then worked as a Product Designer at PATRICIA, where they led the team in the product creation process and collaborated with design, product, and engineering teams to build service and experience offerings.

Deborah's next role was as a Lead Product Designer at Xtellar Works, Inc. Deborah led user research and interface design processes, creating personas, visualizations, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Deborah also optimized the user experience through research methods and collaborated with project teams to create user-friendly interfaces.

Most recently, Deborah worked as a Product Designer at Glover. Deborah developed a corporate design strategy and communicated design decisions to internal stakeholders and external users. Deborah also stayed up to date on industry trends and set design requirements based on research.

Currently, Deborah is working as a UX/UI Designer at High Impact Careers, where they showcase their design process knowledge, gathers and evaluates user requirements, and illustrates design ideas using various techniques.

Deborah Olagoke completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta, from 2013 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including Completion of the Product Management Virtual Experience from EntryLevel in August 2021, UX Design Fundamentals from Coursera in May 2020, Visual Elements of User Interface Design from Coursera in April 2020, and Google Digital Skills from Google in October 2018.
