Ahmad El Hamawi is a seasoned marketing and media executive with extensive experience across multiple regions and sectors. Currently serving as the Global Head of Brand Media at Glovo since August 2023, Ahmad oversees media efforts in 25 markets aimed at optimizing customer acquisition. Prior to Glovo, Ahmad held the position of Marketing and Media Director for Europe at Vinted, where strategic customer acquisition campaigns were developed for the second-hand fashion market. Ahmad's previous roles at GroupM included Head of Trading Products MENA, where product vision and strategies were executed, and Client Managing Director for Qatar National Bank, providing strategic insights on digital media. Ahmad’s career also includes significant roles at Publicis Media, driving growth and client relationships across multiple agencies and clients. Ahmad holds a BA in Finance from Lebanese American University.
