Olivier Soula

Olivier Soula has had a successful career in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Olivier co-founded ADOCIA in 2005, where they held several positions including Chief Executive Officer and Director of Research & Development. ADOCIA focuses on innovative protein formulations for diabetes treatment, and Soula has been instrumental in the development of nearly 40 patents related to protein delivery. In addition to their work at ADOCIA, Soula also co-founded Glowbl in 2011 and served as President. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Soula spent eight years at Flamel Technologies (now Avadel Pharmaceuticals) as the Director of the Nanotechnologies department. During their time at Flamel, they led the development of the Medusa platform for sustained release of therapeutic proteins and successfully conducted clinical trials for three projects.

Olivier Soula has a diverse educational background in the field of management and chemistry. Olivier obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from iaelyon School of Management, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. Prior to this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in L’École Doctorale Matériaux at Université de Lyon, completing their studies from 1995 to 1997. Olivier also holds a D.E.A. in Organic Chemistry from Université de Haute-Alsace Mulhouse-Colmar, which they obtained in 1993 after studying there from 1992 to 1993. Additionally, they have a Diplôme d'ingénieur chimiste (Chemical Engineering Degree) in Biotechnology and Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Mulhouse, which they earned from 1990 to 1993.
