Jim Butler

Jim Butler is the current Vice President of FP&A at Glowforge. Prior to joining Glowforge, Jim served as the Vice President of Finance at Inseego Corp for two years and one month. Jim has also worked as an independent consultant, providing strategic planning and financial modeling for early-stage and mid-market companies to guide profitable growth and raising capital. Additionally, Jim has experience as a Chief Financial Officer, leading all aspects of finance, accounting, legal, and human resources with the objective to drive profitable growth and professionalize finance and administrative functions. Jim has also served as a Consulting CFO and Senior Director of Finance & Treasurer. Jim Butler began their career as a Division Officer in the U.S. Navy, where they served for four years and one month.

Jim Butler has an MBA from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business and a degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
