Evelien Micholt

Evelien Micholt currently serves as the Director of Operations and Portfolio Manager for Discovery Sciences at Galapagos since October 2019, overseeing operational management and driving continuous improvement in both on-site and outsourced activities. Prior roles at Galapagos include Business Partner for R&D IT and Research IT, where Evelien led digital transformation initiatives and ensured alignment of IT strategies. Previous experience encompasses positions such as AI Innovation Lead at The Digitects and Medical Software Product Owner at Nobel Biocare, which involved managing teams and implementing Agile methodologies. Evelien holds a Ph.D. in Bioscience Engineering from KU Leuven and has pursued additional certifications in management excellence, user experience, and storytelling, further exemplifying a commitment to professional development and leadership.
