Ian Gaudet

Ian Gaudet is an accomplished professional in the field of biomedical engineering and advanced cell and gene therapy technology. Currently serving as the VP and Head of US Technical Operations at Galapagos since July 2024, Ian leads efforts to enhance patient experience and access through a decentralized CAR-T manufacturing model. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Scientific Director at Miltenyi Biotec, where strategic leadership focused on advancing the company's position in the global bioindustry, and various senior roles at PCT, a Caladrius company, including Site Head and Director of Innovation & Engineering. Ian began the career as a Cell Process Engineer at MicroIslet, Inc. after completing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, where research revolved around innovative cell scaffolding and materials characterization. Educational background also includes a B.S. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
