Maike Spoon

Maike Spoon is a Senior Clinical Scientist and Associate Director at Galapagos, focusing on the clinical development and project management of decentralized CAR-T cell products in hemato-oncology, particularly lymphoma. Maike's experience includes positions as Clinical Program Manager at both Galapagos and CellPoint, the latter of which was acquired by Galapagos. Previous roles include Clinical- and Translational Scientist at Prinses Máxima Centrum voor Kinderoncologie, where resistance mechanisms of CAR-T cell therapy in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia were investigated. Additional experience encompasses a business trainee role at Novartis Oncology, research internships across various prestigious institutions, and medical assistance in dermatology, immunology, and neurology.
