Peter Vandevenne

Peter Vandevenne is an experienced IT leader with a robust background in various senior management roles. Currently serving as Head of ITS at Galapagos since July 2022, Peter previously held the position of Chief Information Officer at ADB SAFEGATE from January 2020 to July 2022. Prior experience includes roles at De Cronos Groep, The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and Johnson & Johnson, where Peter held multiple titles including Global IT Head Actelion and EMEA VP IT and CIO Janssen Companies. Peter began the career as an IT consultant at Electronic Data Systems after earning a Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, and Management from KU Leuven and completing executive education at INSEAD.
