Tim Aerts

Tim Aerts started their work experience in 2011 as Quality Management at Fabricators and Technology SAC. Tim then moved on to Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson in 2012, where they worked as a GOLD associate until 2014. Tim later became a Manufacturing Supervisor at Janssen from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Tim joined Johnson & Johnson, where they held various roles including Associate Manager External Manufacturing OTC from 2017 to 2018, Manager External Manufacturing EMEA from 2019 to 2020, Global Public Health Supply Chain from 2019 to 2022, and Senior Manager Supplier Quality - Consumer Health from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they are working as the Director Operations Strategy at Galapagos since 2022.

Tim Aerts completed their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Tim obtained an Engineer's Degree in Master of Science from KU Leuven in 2011. Tim also pursued a Master's degree in General Management from Université catholique de Louvain in 2012. Additionally, they studied Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2010 to 2011. Tim further obtained certifications in Digital Leadership from Vlerick Business School in February 2022, in Karrass Effective Negotiating from KARRASS® Effective Negotiating in December 2018, and in Basics of Supply Chain Management from APICS in June 2013. Tim also holds certifications in Detailed Scheduling and Planning, Lean Green Belt, Master Planning of Resources, and Project Leader.
