Marcel Hennek

Marcel Hennek is a seasoned professional in logistics and digital innovation, currently serving as Senior Manager for Global AI Development and European Digitalization at GLS since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Manager of Operations at Bettermile, where parcel shuttle crowd delivery operations were built and managed. Earlier in the career at GLS Germany GmbH & Co. OHG, Marcel held various positions such as Project Manager in the COO Office focusing on innovation, Manager of Last Mile Innovation, and Assistant to the Managing Director, along with completing a dual study in Logistics Management. Marcel Hennek holds a Master of Science in IT-Enabled Innovation from Maynooth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics Management from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
