Nathaniel Phillipps, CHW, is an accomplished community organizer and educator with extensive experience in advocating for social justice, de-carceration, and inclusive education. Currently serving as a Community Organizer at the Nevada Coalition Against the Death Penalty and a member of the Educator Advisory Council for GLSEN, Phillipps collaborates on critical issues affecting LGBTQIA+ communities and public education. As a Senior Board Member of The Mass Liberation Project and Principal of Freedom is a Dream Away, Phillipps focuses on political advocacy, civic empowerment, and anti-racism initiatives. Previous roles include Social Emotional Learning Facilitator at CORE, Elementary School Teacher with the Clark County School District, and Community Health Worker with The Children's Cabinet, contributing to innovative community care models in Nevada. Phillipps holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The New School.
