Robert Popik

Robert Popik is the current COO at Glunz & Jensen. Prior to this, they were the Plant Manager at Prima Poprad, a Tier 1 supplier of plastic components for DAIMLER, FIAT, VW and WHIRLPOOL. Robert has also worked as an Operations Manager at Inteva Products, where they led the entire operation of a Tier 1 supplier of roofs and consoles for BMW, ASD, VW and Skoda. In their most recent position before joining Glunz & Jensen, they were the Logistic Project Manager at Whirlpool Corporation in Wroclaw, Poland.

Robert Popik attended a technical university in Kosice, Slovakia, where they received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical engineering. Robert also pursued additional pedagogy studies at the Faculty of Pedagogy, Technical University, Kosice. Robert is certified as an Authorized Safety Expert by the National Labour inspection, and as an Expert for prevention of major industrial accidents by the Ministry of Environment.

Robert Popik reports to Martin Overgaard Hansen, CEO. They are on a team with Massimiliano Merlo - CCO, Henrik Blegvad Funk - CFO .
