Josh Knechtel

Senior Quantitative Researcher at Gluskin Sheff

As a member of the Asset Allocation team, Josh Knechtel is responsible for quantitative research in strategic asset allocation and investment strategy. He has over 19 years of experience in asset allocation, quantitative research, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gluskin Sheff, he was a Portfolio Manager for Global Tactical Asset Allocation at CPP Investment Board in Toronto where he was responsible for all portfolio management and research development of the Cross-Country Equity Allocation program within the GTAA team.

Prior thereto, Josh started his career at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York where he was a researcher for the Global Tactical Asset Allocation and Global International Allocation portfolio management teams.

Josh received his Master of Science in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
