Solomon A. is an experienced leader in process development and manufacturing within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of CMC Process Development and Manufacturing at GlycoEra AG since September 2023, Solomon A. has successfully industrialized a novel protein expression system while mentoring a cross-functional team. Previously, as Director and Head of DSP Process Development and Manufacturing Sciences at Fresenius Kabi from February 2019 to July 2023, Solomon A. directed the strategic vision for DSP development and managed biosimilar programs from process design to commercialization. At Biocon Biologics, Solomon A. established and led the Downstream and Process Analytics Group over a period of 13 years, implementing innovative purification strategies. Solomon A. holds an Executive General Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, along with an MSc in Biotechnology from Bangalore University and a BSc in Chemistry and Microbiology from Mangalore University.
