Jake Fischer

Jake Fischer has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jake is currently working as a Systems & Safety Engineer at Glydways since May 2023. Prior to that, they founded a Stealth Startup in October 2022 and served as the Founder until May 2023. From October 2020 to October 2022, Jake worked as a Systems Engineer at Aurora. Jake gained significant experience at Uber, where they held the positions of Systems Engineering Lead from September 2018 to October 2020, and Senior EDS Engineering Lead from October 2015 to September 2018. Jake also has a background in robotics, as they founded Wave Robotics in April 2008 and served as the Founder-Technical Lead until October 2015. Jake started their career at Oshkosh Corporation in June 2002 and worked there as a Sr. Principal Engineer - Unmanned Systems until September 2015.

Jake Fischer attended Michigan Technological University from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
