Rick Komerska

Rick Komerska has over 30 years of work experience in various engineering and software development roles. Rick is currently working as a Staff Systems Engineer at Glydways since February 2023. Prior to this, they were employed at Scientific Systems Company, Inc. (SSCI) for 15 years, starting in 2008 and serving as a Lead Engineer until February 2023. Rick also worked as a Software Systems Engineer at Autonomous Undersea Systems Institute (AUSI) from 1998 to 2007. In addition, they had a role as a Research Scientist at the University of New Hampshire from 2001 to 2004. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cabletron from 1996 to 1998. Rick's early career includes a position as an Engineer/Scientist at McDonnell Douglas Aerospace from 1990 to 1993.

Rick Komerska earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University in the years 1984 to 1989. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering at UC Irvine from 1993 to 1995.
