James Newby

James Newby is a skilled vocalist currently serving as a Jerwood Young Artist at Glyndebourne since April 2017. Newby's experience includes participating as a Chorus member at Investec Opera Holland Park since May 2015 and holding Choral Scholarships at St. Martin in the Fields Church and Old Royal Naval College from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Newby worked as a Choral Scholar for Gloucester Cathedral Enterprises Limited from September 2011 to August 2012 and as a Box Office Assistant at the Three Choirs Festival during 2011-2012. Academic achievements include an MMus in Voice from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and studies at Trinity Laban from 2012 to 2016.
