Scotty Vincent, PhD

Scotty Vincent, PhD has a diverse work experience. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego. During this time, they utilized a multimodal experimental paradigm to inspect ecologically valid social learning in college students. From 2017 to 2022, they were a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles. In this role, they used EEG, computer science, behavioral models, immunohistochemistry, and forward genetic approaches to quantify the stochastic relationships among neural oscillations and sleep phenotypes. Scotty also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and was responsible for the direct mentorship of eighteen persons. In 2020, they joined Integra Consulting Group, LLC as a Senior Life Science Advisor. In this role, they performed diligence on prospect clients within life science, health care, and artificial intelligence. Scotty also executed investor outreach to disseminate public information for clients and worked directly with C-suite executives to organize investor presentations and marketing materials. In 2021 and 2022, they served as a Reviewer for the Journal: Neurobiology of Sleep and Circadian Rhythms and the Journal of Neuroscience Research (JNR), respectively. In 2022, they were appointed as the Chief of Staff at Glyphic Biotechnologies.

Scotty Vincent received their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego in 2016, following their studies from 2013-2016. Scotty then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is currently in the process of completing their PhD, which they expect to finish in 2022.
