Nessa Valdellon has extensive experience in the media industry, particularly with GMA Network, Inc. Nessa started as a Program Manager in GMA Public Affairs in 2001 and eventually rose to become the Vice President of GMA Public Affairs. During their time there, they produced successful seasons of Survivor Philippines and supervised various magazine, documentary, and reality programs. Nessa was also the Channel Head of GMA News TV, where they created the programming grid and launched the Philippines' number one news channel. In addition, Nessa pivoted the Documentary and News Magazine producers of GMA Public Affairs to become creatives and producers of top-rated soaps, romantic comedies, historical dramas, and drama anthologies. Nessa produced 30 programs under GMA Public Affairs, including award-winning shows such as Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Reel Time, I-Witness, and Reporter's Notebook. Nessa also won a YouTube innovation grant for the digital newscast Stand For Truth. Before joining GMA, they worked as an Executive Producer for The Probe Team, the country's most awarded investigative newsmagazine program. Nessa also served as a Lecturer at the University of the Philippines.
