Paul Latta

Paul Latta is currently an advisor at GMJ Technologies. Paul has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, including stints as a control systems engineer and equity research analyst. In their most recent role as a portfolio manager at Glacier Peak Capital, they managed the $100 million Global Large Cap long/short hedge fund. During their tenure, they comfortably beat the MSCI World benchmark.

Prior to joining Glacier Peak Capital, Latta spent 13 years as the director of research at McAdams Wright Ragen (MWR), Seattle's largest investment bank. Paul was a member of the MWR Executive Committee and member of the MWR Capital Management Committee (the "buy-side" of MWR). Paul helped grow the firm from its 1999 founding to over $10 billion in wealth management assets and over 200 employees. The Research Department ranked number one in the country by Barron's for stock picking record. McAdams Wright Ragen was acquired by RW Baird & Co. in 2012.

Latta began their financial career as an equity research analyst at Ragen MacKenzie in 1993. Paul left in 1998 to join Glacier Peak Capital, where they spent 18 years managing various portfolios.

Latta has a degree in electrical engineering from CH2M HILL. Paul is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Paul Latta completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in chemical engineering. Paul then went on to get their masters in business administration with a concentration in international finance from Harvard Business School.
