Anton Abrarov

Anton Abrarov serves as the Head of AI & Machine Learning at Norilsk Nickel since May 2019, where responsibilities include driving AI and data science initiatives with an annual financial impact exceeding £80M and managing a data team of over 40 members. Previously, Anton held the role of Head of Data Engineering & BI and Deputy CDO at the IT Department of Moscow Government from June 2015 to April 2019, focusing on data engineering and analysis for senior management. Before that, Anton worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from January 2014 to May 2015, contributing to multiple consulting projects and managing a team for significant analytical research. Anton holds a Master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, graduated in 2015, and completed studies at the AESC MSU Kolmogorov Boarding School from 2007 to 2009.
