Alexander Poempner

Alexander Poempner has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at GMM Pfaudler since June 2020, Alexander has previously held similar positions at Vision Ophthalmology Group and The BBI Group. Prior to that, Alexander was with Azelis as Regional Finance Manager and Managing Director, along with responsibilities in projects and acquisitions. Early career highlights include finance management roles at the Mauser Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Alexander holds a CFA Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute and a Diplom-Kaufmann in Finance from the University of Cologne, complemented by studies in International Marketing through an ERASMUS exchange programme at Lund University.
